Beauty: A Quick Weekend Away

I don't go on a lot of random weekends away, so it was nice to take osme time out for myself and take a break. My shop has been so busy recently that I just haven't had time to myself. I've been working from 9am to about 2am most days, even on weekends. I've been trying to take at least one day off a week to have time with my family properly and just relax, but even then my brain is on work mode. I guess thats what happens when you have your own business.
Anyway back to the main point of this post: these are the items that I recently took away with me. I took more, like my make up and things, but I thought I'd show you the items that have been a 'star of the show' in my cosmetics bag.

Lush Snow Fairy - I reallllllllly wish I'd have bought the huge bottle of this, but when I went on Boxing Day they only had the 250ml ones or smaller, so just got the 250ml one. I would have picked up more but this was the last 250ml one they had (although I later found out after I'd gotten home that they found a huge stock of the bigger bottles in the back, which was annoying). Mike doesn't like the smell as it's too sweet, but William loves it, as do I. Why is it only a yearly product!

The Body Shop Vitamin E day and night cream - These are my favourite D&N creams, and I always repurchase them. The night cream works a dream on really dry skin, and the day cream also works wonders as a primer.

REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk - this is a little sample that I took with me and it's actually really nice. I only got one and a half uses out of it but to be fair I didn't realise how much I'd used on the first night; you could easily get two uses out of it. My skin was left feeling clean and felt really soft.  REN is a bit out of my price range at the moment but I'd love to hear of any dupes that you know.

Lancome Bi-Facial make up remover - this reminds me so much of my beloved Clinique Take The Day Off remover which I love to pieces, but just can't afford to repurchase right now. I got this little sample size when I bought a mascara before Christmas and have only really gotten around to using it now. It managed to remove my waterproof mascara with ease and although it has an oil like texture, it didn't leave my eyes feeling greasy.

Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day - eek I love this! Who knew that S&G could excel in so many areas? This smells really nice and didn't leave my hair feeling like straw like I was sort of expecting it to. I've been really impressed with Soap & Glory recently.
