Beauty: Empties #4

uk beauty blogger
I've decided that I don't particularly like doing Empties posts. I mean, you're just looking at a bunch of old, used up make up pieces and there's nothing for me to swatch. I don't know, I guess my mind will change in the future as I didn't dislike doing these posts so much. I liked showing off what I'd used up and whether I'd repurchase it. I like reading the other peoples posts on it so I don't know why it's annoying me so much this time round.

Anyway, whatever Catherine. Get a grip and get on with the post. There may actually be people here who want to see what you thought of these products.

Let me give it to you straight. I like all of these products and I would probably purchase them all again, in fact I have purchased a few of them again.
I can't live (well I can but you know what I mean) without Benefit Boiing. It's hands down the best concealer I've ever used and I've repurchased it a thousand times. That might be a slight exaggeration
I also really like the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer which is that nude coloured tube with the black lid up there. I used to carry this with me in case of top ups which is why all of the print has rubbed off the front. I've repurchased this, not as many times as I have Boiing, but still enough to grant it so me praise. It's quite a thick coverage and I mainly use it in winter, or when I have really bad skin.
The two mascaras are Maybelline Big Eyes and L'Oreal Miss Manga. I prefer the Big Eyes one over Miss Manga but that's not to say I wouldn't repurchase Miss Manga if it was on offer. I have repurchased Big Eyes as I like the finish it gives. I'm the type of person who layers up their mascara and Big Eyes doesn't clump when you do this whereas Miss Manga does.
The No7 lip liner in Nude is probably my favourite lip liner. It does what it says really and stays put all day. I literally used this until every last bit of it was gone.
I used to wear Benefits Gimme Brow on it's own when I first got it but these days I've been layering it over my finished brows to keep them in place while still making them look natural. You get a surprising amount of product out of this little tube.
Ah my Stila Stay All Day eyeliner. This is my favourite eyeliner ever and I seem to wear it most times I opt for the cat flick look. I'd repurchased this right away if the price was a little friendlier for me.
And finally MAC Studio Fix powder. This was my first ever purchase from MAC (well not this exact one) and I've always gone back to repurchase it. It's just one of those products that just works for me you know?

Have you used any of these before? What have you used up lately?

  4. I get through so many tubes of that Collection concealer, it's crazy! I'm desperate to try Gimme Brow once I've gotten through a few other brow gels in my collection and I really like MAC's MSFNs, so I'd love to try the Studio Fix powder too! :)
