I feel like I'm finally getting my blogging grove back. How long this will last I have no idea but for now it feels good. I'm feeling much more myself lately and I don't know if it's because I've finally found work that I like, or that I've recuperated from a much needed break. Either way I'm going to bask in this light for a bit.
I've finally gone back to wearing foundation. The cold hit my face and hormones broke me out. that and my tan finally seems to have faded so I can actually wear foundation again. I've fallen in love with Nars Sheer Glow. It feels like the right foundation to wear at the moment with its creamy texture and the most perfect finish. I'm glad I purchased this as I've come to love it so much. Might it become my favourite foundation? We shall see.
Concealer wise I've been wearing Wake Me Up. While I still and will always love Boiing, being your own boss and working longer hours than you would at any other job I kind of need the 'wake me up' side to things. I get little sleep at night as ideas are constantly running through my head of designs and things to make. It's exciting and draining at the same time, but so rewarding when you see your little business grow.
Two products that never seem to be out of my make up bag at the moment are Benefit Watt's Up and Sleek Contour kit. I'm still looking for the perfect cream contour kit but for now this powder kit has been faithful to me. I feel like these two products go hand in hand together like nutella and toast. A perfect combination.
For my eyes I've been using Soap and Glory liner with Stila Stay All Day liner and the Bourjois Liner mascara. I'm all about the liner at the moment. I never used to bother too much with my eyes as I focused more on contouring or my brows but I must say, eyes really make a difference to your face.
On my brows I've been using this Glo eyeshadow pot with Gimme Brow on top. They're two small products that are so much easier to carry round than the HD Brows palette I had. Although do still love my HD Brows it's not very convenient for travel when I have much smaller options available.
What have you been wearing lately? Have you tried any of these?
