Fashion: H&M Simple Christmas Party Wear

h&m christmas party wear
I don't wear a lot of colour at anytime during the year, and Christmas is no different. I tend to always stick to greys, blacks or whites, with maybe some gold or red to add something to the season.
I've picked out my favourite pieces from H&M if I was to ever go to a work Christmas do. Being self employed means that I can miss out on those embarrassing experiences, however I do have friends who have birthdays in December and early New Year so these would be the type of things I'd wear.

The first one is a halter crop top (£3.99) which I bought in gold and paired with a black pencil skirt and heels for my uncles birthday on Saturday. The fit is really nice on it and despite it being slightly glittery it isn't really rough on the inside so it doesn't rub and irritate you like so many other glittery clothes.

I did try this strapless jumpsuit (£29.99) on in store and really really liked it. It was just a bit too long on me even when I wore heels (small girl problems) but I think that it would suit taller girls, or even if I stitched the bottom a little bit to bring it up.

I really like this short satin dress (£29.99) as I think that it would be something that can be worn for other events throughout the year and not just this current party season. I like the shoes (£29.99) too which the model is wearing as I think it compliments the dress really well.

It's not party season without some sequins and I think that this sequinned dress (£49.99) is perfect. It isn't too over the top with the sequins and is a nice fit on too. This is available in black or red, but I like the red version as it's a little different to my usual wardrobe colour.

The black bag (£12.99) and the gold bag (£7.99) are similar in style and clearly the type that I prefer for parties. I actually really hate using clutch bags as I can never get the ratio between drink holding and dancing right when I have a clutch too. I much prefer shoulder strap bags as it's one less thing to carry in my hands.

this is not a sponsored post. I've just fallen back in love with H&M after a new store opened up in my home town.

  1. I love H&M, i always get my jumpers from there! They're so cheap but decent quality too and you can get some nice designs.

    That jumpsuit is gorgeous!
