I can't leave the house without mascara and it'd be a product that I took on a desert island with me, so I thought I'd put together a little post on the mascaras that I used the most in the past year.
(from left to right)My favourite mascara of the year is the Bourjois Liner Effect mascara. I wore this most days during the last half of the year as its just an easy and effortless mascara to wear.
I've just about finished this little sample of Benefit Roller Lash and I will probably buy a full size. I didn't get on with Roller Lash at first as I thought that it didn't really do anything, but it's since warmed to me.
Another sample is the new Benefit Tinted Primer. I wrote a review here. I've been using this under my lashes since I got it and I do think that it makes a difference.
Another sample which is on its last legs is the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara which I got when I bought the eyeshadow palette. I usually pop this in my bag when I'm going out to top up my mascara as its a handy little size for travelling.
Up next is the Rimmel ScandalEyes mascara. This mascara really makes your lashes stand out which is why I use it for events or nights out.
Then we have the Maybelline Big Eyes mascara (here) which I wore a lot at the start of this last year. It's on its lasts legs now though so I'll have to pick it up next time I'm in Boots.
The Benefit Bad Gal Lash is also on it's last legs. I loved this for a more natural look or when you don't need to make as much of an impact like when you're just going shopping or running errands.
Then we have Miss Manga by L'Oréal (here) which is also on it's last legs. I wore this a lot at the start of the past year too.
And finally we have Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara which has a curved wand to grab and curl the lashes. I like using this for nights out/parties. It's been great for this past month!
What is your favourite mascara?
