Stationery: Non-Beauty Favourites #2

UK Craft Blogger

A little bit of a different post today as I though I'd share my non-beauty favourites of this month. I've really been getting into crafting again which has been a refreshing change from the usual. To go alongside my love of planning/journalling, I decided to venture out and get stamps. The two changeable stamps that I've pictured above are both from a Studio Calico subscription that I've got. They ship out from america so delivery is usually 2 weeks, but it means that I usually get items that aren't available in the UK. The white handled one has things like 'to do', 'bill due', and 'wish list' whereas the black handled one has days of the week on.

To compliment these stamps I've been loving sticky notes and absolutely love the cloud and star design above, as well as the 'get stuff done' pad too. They're both from Studio Calico again. I think all of these go great in my floral planner which has become my favourite planner to date. It's a perfect size for travelling with yet has enough room on each day to document whats happening. I still use my Erin Condren and Filofaxes but they stay at home.

On to pens. Pens! You must think I'm crazy but there's nothing as sweet as a nice writing pen. I love Using the Pilot Multiball which is a fine writing black ink pen. It writes incredibly smoothly and dries really quickly too. I've also been loving the Pentel Sign Pen which I got after attending the Calligraphy class run by Joyce (see here). I use it for designing writing and pictures before scanning onto my computer as the ink is jet black. It's got quite a fine nib and again, writes smoothly.

That weird triangle thing with the X on? It's a corner cutter. It cuts round corners which is great for those who scrapbook and/or use Project Life kits. I've made a few of my own cards and then used this cutter to make the cards look more professional. Its also helped a lot with my shop as I design a few things for that.

Speaking of my shop, not to blow my own trumpet here but I love these gold foil washi tapes that I sell in my shop. I originally bought a few samples to try out before listing on my shop and I loved them so much that I had to order a few more for myself. They're great in my planner to add a little life to it, or for wrapping up Christmas presents which I've started doing too. I think they look really nice with some brown craft paper wrapping and some gold ribbon.

What non-beauty favourites have you been loving recently?

  1. I'm absolutely loving these stationary pieces haha, i'm a sucker for stuff like that!

  2. I love your stationary, there really is nothing like a nice writing pen x
