My new love, and an organisers dream:
I know that I've just written a post about how not to plan your life out, but that was more for long term plans rather than short term.
I was browsing instagram a while back looking fro some cute pictures of stationary. I really wanted to find a new planner or organiser as I was pretty bored of how 'official' my filofax looked. I came across an account of someone who displayed the nicest organisational skills in her planner, full of stickers and fancy handwriting. It looked like the type of organiser that I wanted to plan my life in. It was colourful and full of life - everything that I was looking for. And so I decided to buy the Erin Condren Life Planner.
I opted for the vertical layout as my filofax and many other organisers that I have all contain a horizontal layout. The days are split up into three sections, which I use for morning, day and night. This makes organising your day so much easier.
Each month comes with a plan like this. I use this to write down the posts on my blog which have gone up. This way I can see where there are gaps in my blog posting, and can write something up to fill those gaps, or to help me plan for future blog posts.
Each month, and throughout the organiser, there are inspirational quotes. I love these as little reminders to be happy.
At the front of the organiser is a huge calendar of the coming months. I opted for the July 2015-December 2016 version so there are a lot of months listed. I haven't used these pages yet, but I plan on marking birthdays on them.
The best part of this organiser is that I am able to customise it to my will. Washi tapes, stickers, cute post it notes etc all make planning fun!
My little organisational nerd inside me comes out to play when this bad boy is around. I actually squealed with delight when it came through my door. I've never been so happy to get stationary before - that's pretty sad isn't it ha!
This may have seemed like a sponsored post, but it's honestly not. I'm just in love with it.
Just a note, it does ship from America using FedEx, so if you're not US based, expect about a week+ for delivery.
How do you stay organised?
