A look at my favourite beauty products through the month of April:
First up is my all time favourite perfume which I've been wearing non stop this month (and since I bought it). It's the YSL Black Opium which I reviewed here. It's such a beautiful mix of rock girl meets floral girl. I originally planned to use it sparingly but I love it too much not to wear it every day. I think it's going to become my 'signature' scent.
I never intended to like so many Benefit products this month, but that's the way it's turned out. I've spoken about Hoola before here, but never into as much detail as to give it it's own review. I think that'll be on the cards next. Hola is a bronzing powder which adds colour in a way that it looks natural. It's great for adding colour to your cheekbones and forehead to give you a naturally tanned look.
With summer approaching, everyone seems to be after that 'glow'. I find that if foundations make you look a little 'flat' then highlighters work best. Watt's Up is a highlighter stick that blends really well with any skin tone. It goes on in a solid balm sort of way, and finishes in a powder touch, which stays put and doesn't run down your face.
Oh where would I be without Boiing? This piece of magic covers everything - dark circles, redness, blemishes - everything. It's one of my favourite concealers ever and a little goes a long way.
Since getting long hair I've become very lazy with washing it as it takes so long to dry (seriously, how do you naturals do it?!) To tackle this and to extend me needing to wash it, I use dry shampoo. I find that you can't go wrong with Batiste. I've used others, but always seem to go back to Batiste and I can't fault them.
What have you been loving this month?
