Make Up Revolution Iconic 2 Palette and make up look:
As a fan of the naked palettes I was a bit skeptical about buying this as it's a dupe of the Naked 2 palette. However it was less than £4 in Superdrug so I bought it anyway.
I tried a make up look using a few of the colours that I would have used in the Naked 2 palette - I tried to create a natural look but the colours weren't as pigmented as I would have liked. Some people have told me that I should have used a primer underneath as this makes the colour bolder, but I don't generally use eyeshadow primer.
Despite all of that, I was pleasantly surprised. I do like the palette and think that the colours are nice and neutral. They literally are the same colours as the Naked 2 palette (I've compared them both) but I don't know if I'd buy the other palettes by Make Up Revolution.
I love how easy these powders are to blend though. They are easy to pick up on the brush and blend through, which is why I like it so much. They also last all day despite not being very pigmented. I find that if you just apply a mother layer of eyeshadow, then the colour is bolder.
I've found myself wearing eyeshadow a lot more throughout last month, which isn't what I usually do. I'd say if you're a bit on the bench line about picking up a Naked palette, to invest in one of these instead as you can get a feel of what the colours are like and how you would use them before forking out loads of money.
At less than £4 this palette is practically a steal!
I'm going to try other looks using this palette. I'll do this in video form and upload them onto my YouTube channel so stay tuned for them.
