A look at the Real Techniques Bold Metals Flat Contour Brush:
I'm still in shock at how much I paid for this brush considering it's high street and I could have bought high end for almost the same price. I don't have anything like it though and just used some points on my card instead.
The Real Techniques Bold Metals collection looks divine, and if the high price tag wasn't attached to them then I would have the whole collection. Instead I settled for the Flat Contour Brush as it's something that I don't have anything like.
The handle is a gorgeous rose gold colour with the bottom half plastic and the top half metal. The bristles are an ombred light pink which are packed in quite densely meaning the brush is quite heavy.
I used this brush with the Sleek Contour Kit which worked well at picking up product and blending it out.
The brush didn't wow me or anything, and I think it would be better suited to liquid products rather than powder, however it is a nice brush. I like the colour, the softness of the bristles and the finish it gives. I like the whole idea behind these brushes but I don't think I'll be splashing out on a new one any time soon.
I'd say only buy these if you need one, rather than because you want one. They're nice, but in my opinion they're not worth the high price tag.
Have you tried any of the new RT brushes? What do you think of them?
