Beauty: MAC Lipstick in 'Naked Bud'

Review of MAC Lipstick in 'Naked Bud':

As well as dark lipsticks in autumn, I also like wearing nude toned lip colours. I feel like these are year round colours as they literally go with anything.
I hate not wearing anything on my lips as they're pretty small and I feel that my face looks really plain without anything on, even though this lipstick review is a nude colour.

I picked this up from Cheshire Oaks for about £10 (RRP £15) which is a bargain straight away. It's a lustre lipstick which means that it has a soft glow to it - which I think it does.
On application it's very thin and you do have to build it up to get any sort of colour going. This being said, once you get a nice colour it's perfect and hides any discoloration on your lips.
My top lip is slightly darker than my bottom one (is everyone like this or just me?). Using this nude lipstick, I can ensure that my lips are the same colour without it looking like I have anything on. The power of the nude lipstick.

I wouldn't advise it to those who have really dark lips as it will wash you out, however if you have pink toned lips then I think it would love great on you.

I've also used this underneath other lipsticks as a 'primer' which worked really well and made the colour of other lipsticks bolder. It's an all round great lipstick and lasts for about 5 hours before needing a top up.

What's your favourite nude lipstick? Do you prefer coloured or nude lipsticks?
