A run down of my favourite eyeliners:
Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner | I really liked this at first, then I hated it as I found that the eyeliner that was in the nip was drying and therefore would crumble upon application, but now I love it again as I just wipe it on the back of my hand before applying it. It delivers a intense black first time, and just like Benefit claim, it hugs the lash line. I use this eyeliner when I want cat flicks as it's just so easy to achieve. It lasts all day and needs a good scrub to remove at the end of the day too.
Daniel Sandler Waterproof Eyeliner in Blue Velvet* | I recently wrote a review on this here and I stand by what I said. I love the colour of it as it's different to other coloured eyeliners I have. It lasts all day and can be increased in colour intensity just by adding more layers of it. I love the creaminess of DS eyeliners as I find them much more easy to apply.
Benefit Bad Gal Liner Waterproof | I feel like this Benefit eyeliner isn't talked about enough in the Benefit world. It's possibly my most loved eyeliner as I use it for my every day looks. I use it on my waterline as well as my lash line. The smudger on the other end doesn't get a lot of use as the eyeliner itself sticks as soon as you draw it on and can be difficult to budge afterwards, that being said the smudger does do wonders when you get it right. I might do a full review of this, I don't know why I haven't before!
Model Co Eyeliner | This was actually a magazine freebie (I can't remember the magazine). I use this for my waterline to add definition to my eye looks. It's a very black eyeliner, but I find that it smudges easily on skin - which is why I prefer using it on my waterline. It lasts for about 6 hours on my waterline which is enough time for me to be out doing whatever and then come home, or similarly for nights out before I decade myself too old and tired to keep up with the kids these days (even if I am only 22).
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner | I've spoken about the black one before, but this is the dark brown version. I use this mainly for university as it's more subtle than black eyeliner. It has a pen like application, with a liquid liner finish which is great for precision and achieving cat flicks. The pointed felt tip helps me to get right into the corners of my eyes to ensure maximum 'oomph' on the finished look. Like I said about the black one, it's not waterproof like it suggests, but it is smudge proof and takes some time getting it off.
Maybelline 24 Hour Gel Liner | An old classic and a loved one by many. It came with a little brush, which I still use for applying this eyeliner. It's really black, which is good as other potted gel liners similar to this are more of a fray or faded black when applying, and you end up using loads just to get it black. This gel liner comes out black first time meaning that you don't need to use loads - meaning the pot will last a long time. It's cheap as chips too and comes in an adorable glass pot. I've heard that some peoples ended up drying out really quickly, but I've never had that problem.
Have you tried any of these? What's your favourite eyeliner?
