Lifestyle: Color Run Manchester

I recently took part in the Color Run, Manchester:

As some of you know, I took part in the Color Run in Manchester at the beginning of July. It was a fantastic day with lots of laugher and color.

I'm a bit serious when it comes to runs like this so I did it timed. I had my exersize equiptment strapped to me and ran the 5k in under half an hour (which I'm pretty pleased about).
As I was running round, I noticed that there were young children taking part, so I think that next time I do this, I'll take William with me as I'm sure he'll love it.

At each benchmark there were a different coloured powder awaiting to cover you. As the run went on it seemed that the powder at each benchmark increased until the last one (orange) was so thick that it was difficult to see when I was going.

It was a very fun day though, with people rolling around on the floor to catch some powder, and a huge party at the end where everyone threw more powder into the air as we danced.

If you'd like to do the Color Run, then head down to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Septemeber 28th to take part (sign up here).

Thanks to LV= for inviting me to run. I'd love to do it again!

  3. You look exactly like Emeli Sandé in that first photo! I was momentarily distracted.

Whilst I don't run, a Colour Run sounds like the most fun and something I think I'd love to do. However, you look relatively clean compared to some of the photos I've seen on Tumblr!
