Beauty: Benefit Lemon Aid Review

Sadly this is a disappointing review on the Benefit Lemon Aid:

I know I haven't done a before and after picture using this, but I honestly couldn't see a difference after I'd applied this.

Benefit Lemon Aid is designed to reduce redness and discolouration on the eyelid to give you a more wide awake look, as well as being a great primer for concealer.

I applied this using my fingers and dabbed around my eyes before using concealer. It's meant to hide redness around the eyes (such as veins)  which I don't think it does. In fact, I didn't see a difference what so ever. Literally nothing.

I usually like Benefit products so this was quite disappointing and I'm really gutted that I spent so much money on it.

I do know people who have had a good experience with this, so maybe it's just me?

I'm still on the look out for anything that will reduce redness around the eyes so do let me know if you can think of anything.

Have you tried this before?

  1. It's sad to hear such bad things about this product especially from a brand like Benefit! You should try the Max Factor CC sticks for that kind of thing :)

  2. That's such a shame especially as Benefit products aren't the cheapest around. xx

  3. I had a mini one of these in the Realness of Concealness kit a few years back - I thought it was completely pointless then, so sad to see that they haven't improved it at all! There are so many really good, cheaper products out there that actually work - I'm surprised Benefit haven't upped their game with this one. Still, I love lots of other Benefit products, guess we have to allow them some mistakes!

  4. That's such a shame, I hate it when expensive products don't work like they should :/

  5. I get dark circles and redness a lot and this is one of my absolute holy grail products. It's such a shame you didn't get on with it as I find it absolutely amazing for evening out my skintone and dark circles!

Loving your blog. Following on GFC & bloglovin! Would love it if you checked out my latest post. xx
