The products that have stood out to me in the month of August:
Bleach London Silver Shampoo | At the beginning of the year I decided to change my hair up a bit and go lighter. At first it was a light brown, then a dark blonde, then a yellow blonde, and now it's white. This silver shampoo has truly helped in getting my hair white as it counteracts the yellow tones in the hair to make it lighter and brighter, resulting in whiter hair. I use it on my roots whenever I re-dye them as they go yellow every time I dye them. This shampoo works the first time at getting rid of the yellow tones. I will stress that you shouldn't leave it on for too long as it can turn your lighter hair into a faded lilic colour (which personally I didn't mind too much).
Bumble and Bumble Mending Lotion | I recently picked this up on a trip to Cheshire Oaks as my hair is in pretty awful condition after going lighter. I'm going to do a full review of this soon, but so afar I've been using it for about two weeks now and I still love it. My hair feels silkier and smoother meaning less breakages when I brush it. Keep an eye out for the review!
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation | another purchase that I picked up from Cheshire Oaks. I recently did a make up look using this foundation (see here) and I absolutely love the coverage it gives. It lasts all day in work too - a full review will be going up on this where I'll explain more in detail of how much I love it.
Seche Vite Top Coat | wow how did I even paint my nails without this miracle product before? I hate waiting for my nails to dry as there always seems to be something that needs doing just as you've painted them, and this product has been a life saver. I picked this up from ASOS with a discount code as I didn't really want to pay full price for something that I might not even like, but I'd gladly pay the full price for it now that I've used it. My nails are dry in record speed and I can get on with things that need to be done. It also leaves a fantastic shine and makes my nail varnishes last twice as long before chipping or needing replaced.
Rimmel Apocalips | I've refund my love for these lipgloss/lipstains. Sometimes I find that lip sticks can be a bit too much, especially working in retail, and I want something thats a bit more laid back. Everyone and their dog has tried these before so I won't bore you too much with the details. I have seen some negative reviews of these though and people seemed to have fallen for the hype of the product, but I must say that I really like them (I own four of these bad boys). It is a love hate relationship with them though as I find something better and forget them for a while, but this month I've been loving them, and I'll try not to throw them into the back of the drawer again (oops).
