BUMBLE AND BUMBLE 'THE TOUSLED TWO-STEP'

Bumble and Bumble 'The Tousled Two-Step' | £27 buy here

I bought this in the John Lewis Clearance sale for about half the RRP but it doesn't seem to be online anymore. I'm guessing that it's sold out, but you can still buy it from Boots (at the full price).

I loved the Bb Thickening hairspray that I received a while ago in an Elle magazine but I didn't want to fork out £21 for a hairspray for the full size, so for a while I made my mini size last me. That was until I saw this set from John Lewis for about £15 (don't quote me on that) and I immediately snapped it up.
This set comes with a 125ml bottle of the Thickening Hairspray, as well as a 150ml bottle of the Bb Texture creme too.

This little combination is great for wavy or curly hair as it adds extra volume, texture and holds the hair style in place for longer.
I use the texture creme to add a bit of texture the the ends on my hair when I'm having it curly. I also apply a little bit to the roots followed by the hairspray for extra volume and lift.
I've noticed that when I use this combination, my curls last longer (usually all day if it's not windy) than it would with just your usual Tresemme hairspray.

I will mention that the Texture Creme is a little thick so it's best to work it through slightly damn hair to help it absorb quicker.

Both products smell great so you're not left with a horrible chemical smell that some hair styling products have. You're hair is left feeling lightweight too so don't worry about this set weighing your hair down.

Overall I'm pretty happy I picked this up, and I would definitely repurchase both items.

Have you tried the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Range? What do you do to add volume to your hair?

  1. I've never tried anything from their thickening range. My hair is really fine, flat and bolt straight but I swear by their Semisumo for adding shine and texture in my hair :)

  2. Haven't tried this. It looks good though! I have thick curly hair anyway but i do have issues with getting my curls to go the way you want them! :)
