This month I seemed to have had one of those months where you 'find yourself'. I've found a 'look' that I think works for me and I'm happy with it. I'm more happy in my appearance than I have been in a long time, and I feel so much better for eating healthier. Go January!
HD Brows Professional Eye & Brow Palette* | £29.95 buy here
Something that has helped me to 'find' my look is the HD Brows kit that I got at Pro Beauty North. It's a huge palette with six different colours in. I'm sure I've spoken about it before but I can't remember.
The different colours are perfect for me as I am often changing my hair (although I'm trying to keep it one colour this year). The colours are really pigmented which is fabulous as you don't need to pile on the product in order to get the colour you want.
I mainly use this for my brows but I have used a few of the browns as eyeshadow as they last all day in the crease and don't 'fall out'.
Tresemmé Split Remedy Leave in Treatment | £2.87 buy here
Using heated tools on your hair after its been multiply dyed can have a bad effect. My hair is really dry at the ends and I find that I get split ends quicker having lighter hair. This stuff is brilliant at keeping the split ends under control and it also helps to tackle frizz. Bonus!
I've heard that the shampoo and conditioner versions are good too but I haven't tried them. If you have tried them then please let me know!
Lush BIG Shampoo | £11.50 buy here
This is currently my favourite shampoo full stop. It's really cleansing, yet gentle and nourishing. It doesn't leave my hair really dry like other cleansing shampoos. I recently wrote a huge review on it here.
Sleek Contour Kit | £6.49 buy here
This contour kit is brilliant and I can see why so many bloggers love it. I'd originally been using my Daniel Sandler one but I'd hit pan on it and decided to try something cheaper.
This Sleek kit is really pigmented so you get the colour you're after straight away. If you like it darker then thats great too as this is very buildable. I'm sure I've spoken about this before as I'm getting a sense of déjá vu but it really is worth raving about. I use my Real Techniques Blush brush with this and it blends really well.
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter | £13 buy here
This is my favourite body butter from The Body Shop. It smells delicious yet fresh and fruity. I apply this after a bath at night, and it soaks in quite quickly, locking in the moisture. The smell lasts for hours as I can still smell it slightly in the morning. It's really moisturising which is good for this horrible weather we've been having.
My boyfriend doesn't like this as he said that the smell is really strong (that'll stop him using it) butI think hat the smell is fine. It is worth going in store and having a sniff at the different varieties though as you'd probably have a different opinion on the scent to me.
