2013 was a year that really shaped and changed me. I came to terms with a lot of things, I grew up, moved out, turned 21, went on my first holiday without my family, and started this blog.
In January I turned 21 and celebrated being with my partner for two years. We flew to Rome, Italy and had the best weekend away ever.
I attended my first ever bloggers meet up which was the North Meet Up that the lovely Em Sheldon of EmTalks set up. Here I got to meet some great bloggers who I'm still friends with now.
From then it was like a whirl wind and time flew past very quickly. My blog grew and I took more interest in writing and even decided to start a YouTube channel. I attended loads more events and meet ups and met some new bloggers and old.
I even met a 'celeb' at an event in Leeds which was really good
So many opportunities have opened up and I'm so grateful for that. I've had an amazing year
2013 was the year I attended my first (and prob last) festival. Including the great British weather!
shamelessly taking selfies in shops. Vouge's Fashion Night Out was great as I got to meet up with some blogging friends and went shopping. A girls dream
At the Mid Summer Meet I met up with my blogging friends again and we all got makeovers done by Benefit.
I went to see one of my favourite artists in action with my sister; P!NK. She was amazing live.
And recently I was invited to the Pro Beauty North which was a completely different experience for me, and has me wanting to go to IMATS!
I've had quite a busy year, but I've loved every moment of it. I'm so grateful for everything that I've managed to do this year.
I grew up and moved into an apartment with my boyfriend and my son, and I'm currently taking driving lessons. One of my aim for 2014 is to pass so that I can take my little one out on days out to places that we wouldn't be able to go otherwise.
I always want to blog more and upload more YouTube videos so hopefully I'll be able to stick to them.
Something else that I want to do during 2014 is to support smaller bloggers more and to help them grow as I don't think that smaller blogs get the recognition that they deserve.
Whats been the highlight of 2013 for you? What are you looking forward to in 2014?
