TAG: HOW MUCH IS MY FACE WORTH?

Hello everyone! Today I thought I'd do a tag. I like doing tags as it changes things up a little from outfit posts and beauty reviews. This tag in particular has been doing the rounds in the blogging world, and I decided to do it after I saw my good friend Fran from thefrancescadiaries.blogspot.co.uk had done it (she's amazing - go follow her!)

This is my 'face' today:

BASE
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation £27 (buy here // review here)
Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer £6.99 (buy here)

This combination is one of my favourites. The primer is the best one I've used yet as it just gives a smooth canvas for my foundation to go on top of.

CONCEAL and FINISH
Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer £7.99 (buy here)
By Terry Hydra-Powder £41 (buy here)

At first it was hard to find a decent concealer, and everyone recommended the Collection one. I did buy that, but after seeing other reviews on the Bourjois one I decided to purchase that too. I love this concealer as the colour matches are better and I find that it stays on longer too.

CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHT
Daniel Sandler Sculpt and Slim £24.50 (buy here // review here)
Benefit Watt's Up! £24.50 (buy here)

I've had the Daniel Sandler kit for about a year now and I've only just hit pan. Once this is finished I'll buy the Sleek one as so many people have recommended that one to me.

BROWS
Sleek Storm Palette £7.99 (buy here)

I was actually bought this as a gift some time ago but I'm still going to count it.
The lighter brown that the arrow is pointing at, I use for going over my lid just to even out any discolouration. The darker brown I use for filling in my eyebrows. I did use the Urban Decay Brow Box but my hair is a lot darker than it used to be now and I've therefore moved on to a darker brow colour to match.

EYES
Maybelline Gel Liner £7.99 (buy here // review here)
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara £12 (buy here // review here)
Avon Mega Effects Mascara £7 (buy here)
I've spoken about the gel liner and the bottom lash mascara before, and there's a review coming soon about the Avon mascara (They're Real! dupe?). I love this combination for making my eyes stand out more, and defining my tiny lashes.
TOTAL: £166.96

WOWZA! over £100 worth of product on my face. That's pretty amazing if you ask me

I tag everyone to do this, and if you do please leave links below - I want to see how much your face is worth!

  1. I love this tag, when I did mine it really shocked me, as I didn't even think I wore that much makeup on a daily basis. The Terry Hydra powder looks very pretty.

  4. Love these types of tags, its interesting to see what makeup someone else wears on a regular basis. Love the shades in the storm palette such a nice selection. I've never thought of using the browns for brows, might have to try this!
