NEW BUY: Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush and NYX Gel Liner

So this is kind of two mini reviews in one.
I recently picked up the Real Techniques Fine Liner brush, and then when I was at Pro Beauty North I picked up a few things from the NYX counter including this Gel Liner.

Lets start off with the RT Fine Liner brush.
The brush comes in the standard RT packaging - plastic and clear. When I fist saw this in Boots I was a bit weary that it wouldn't be suitable for gel eyeliners but a quick scan of googles top reviews and I was sold.

The brush head is super tiny and really thin meaning that the liner can get as close to the eyelashes as possible.

The handle is just as long as other Real Technique brushes so you don't have to worry about controlling the brush head (I find that longer brushes are easier to control... just me?)

The NYX Gel liner caught my eye straight away as I'm currently a bit fan of gel liners. Apparently you can use this liner to smudge onto the eyelid too, but I haven't tried that yet.
I bought the dark brown shade.

The Gel liner comes in a tiny little glass pot with a plastic lid. At first I thought it looked really dry but upon application I found it to be quite manageable and creamy.

the Fine Liner brush gives a really thin line which I'm really pleased about. I find that its much easier to control and gives better results than a slanted brush too.
The eyeliner itself dries almost instantly and lasts all day too. I didn't have a problem with fading or smudging which I thought would be a problem.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with these two products, and if I'm near NYX products again I'll be picking up more colours of the gel liner.

Have you got this Real Techniques brush? Have you tried NYX products before?
