little beauty haul: September

Last month I received my student loans which was a life saver as I was literally running on empty beforehand. I had a huge wishlist of things that I wanted throughout August, so as soon as my money came through I hit the shops and bought a few things.
I spent a good deal of money at Space NK (see post here) where I managed to pick up the By Terry powder from my September Wishlist (see here) but other things that I wanted I had to go in store for as I had to be colour matched (for the Skin Base foundation for example).
I still have a few things that I want, but I think I'll end up putting them on my Christmas wish list. The Clinique Cleansing Balm is still out of stock online which is something that I wanted to try, whereas other things are just a little pricey for me to buy.

So what did I actually buy last month?

#1 Barry M TMLP: I've wanted this since S/S time when everyone was raving about it, however whenever I went to buy it it was sold out. I had put it to the back of my mind and all but forgotten about it completely until I was browsing the shelves of Boots when they had their Buy One Get One Half Price, and I spotted this again. What better excuse to buy a lipstick? | £4.49

#2 Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: this was more of a repurchase than anything, although I did have to get a shade darker as my skin is still tanned from summer | £4.19

#3 Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation: I've been wanting to try this out since I first heard about it, and I must say that it didn't disappoint! I'd highly recommend this - review coming soon :) | £27

#4 Clarins HydraQuench Creme Gel: I bought this from India (@JewelBeautyBlog) on twitter as she was having a mini sale on there. I've been looking for a moisturiser that also controls oil and helps to mattify - all of which this does! | £34

#5 Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer: I bought this when I bought the foundation version of it too, and although I didn't like the foundation (it didn't agree with my skin) I do like this and I think it's a good concealer for days when you don't need as much done. | £7.99

#6 Vaseline LE Paint The Town: I had heard that this was a Selfridges exclusive? But I found it in Boots so I bought it. I've always liked Vaseline, and this does everything Vaseline does, as well as adding a slight red tint to your lips as well - bonus! | £3.49

#7 Real Techniques Setting Brush: This was one of the items on my September Wishlist which I have finally gotten around to buying. I use this to apply the byTerry Hyrda Powder that I purchased from Space NK around my eyes and t-zone to help mattify the area. Works wonders and the bristles are really soft. | £8.99

#8 Real Techniques Shading Brush: I didn't technically need this but it was half price if I bought the Setting brush, so thats my excuse anyway. | £7.99

Have you bought anything recently?
