Mani Monday: back to school

Hello! Finally a Mani Monday ey? This week I thought I'd do a back to school type tutorial as it's that time of the year when the schools re open after summer. My son has already gone back to school, and I'm going to university next week.
This tutorial isn't very difficult and neither does it take a long time, so I hope that you enjoy it :)

Start off by painting three nails yellow, but cutting two off before the tip.

Paint the other two nails a white and a black, and use the light pink colour to fill in the rest of the yellow nails.

using the black nail pen, draw some detail onto the yellow nails. I drew a pencil tip for the thumb, the rubber end of the pencil for the middle nail (just had tiny 'HB' letters) and a ruler for the pinky.

Using a silver draw a thin line on the middle nail to separate the yellow and the pink. This is to represent the metal that holds the rubber to the pencil.
On the white nail, draw some light blue lines across, and one red line downwards. This is the 'paper' or note book nail.

Next, take a black nail art pen and draw a 'A+' on the paper nail, and using a white nail art pen draw a sum (for example 4+4) onto the black nail - this is to represent the blackboard.

Add a clear top coat and there you have it!
If you have a better imagination than me then you could draw so many different things to represent going back to school, like a school bag or a packed lunch.
I hope you like it!

What do you think? Will you be trying this design?

If there's any designs you would like me to try then don't hesitate to contact me :)
