Autumn: looking forward to...

(source

I have never been one to like hot weather as I feel like I'm just melting, an I can't stand the sweaty stickyness of it all. I also don't like really cold temperatures where I'm in so much pain from being frozen to death.

Autumn is my favourite season as it's a good balance of the two. Nights start to get longer and darker quicker, the leaves on the trees begin to turn orange and brown, and the animals set up homes for the coming winter.

What I look forward to though are the baggy jumpers and skinny jeans combo, darker lipsticks and nails, burning candles and snuggling up on the sofa watching movies.
Halloween and the return of the Pumpkin Spiced Latte at Starbucks, bonfire night and fireworks.
New stationary and the start of new school/college/university terms, writing on the first page of a brand new notebook and hoping you don't make a mistake.
Wearing Ugg boots and warm coats. Kicking up the leaves as I walk my little one to school.
The X Factor countdown to Christmas, new season tv shows, having tomato soup and watching the soaps.
Monochrome outfits (although I do that anytime of the year), checkered shirts and army print jackets.
Having curly hair (the rain won't keep my hair straight), changing up my skin care routine, having long relaxing bubbly baths.

What are you looking forward to in autumn?

  2. What i look above autumn is that it's not too cold, and not too hot. I also love the colour burgundy (for some strange reason), cosy sweaters and booties!
