Today I have a little bit of a different 'Mani Monday' for y'all. It's one that even the not-so-steady-handed can do. No faffing around with nail art pens or cocktail sticks.
I give you: Sparkly Nails nail art stickers! Sparkly Nails are an online brand who specialise in nail art supplies. They don't just stock stickers either; they have studs, spikes, tools, caviar etc. And all at reasonable prices.
The stickers I am using in this tutorial are the Golden Droplet Lace Stickers* which are available to buy here for only £1.50
Step one: apply a base coat. For this tutorial I used Barry M Gelly in Pomegranate. It's a beautiful pink colour and is available from Boots or online here.
Step two: apply the Sparkly Nail stickers. This set of stickers actually come in a strip rather than separate little stickers. I find that this is easier when you're trying to achieve a boarder effect like we are here.
GENTLY peel the stickers off the backing sheet. You may need tweezers for this. Be careful not to touch the sticky side of the sticker with your fingers as this could prevent the sticker from applying the the nail correctly.
Wrap the sticker around the base of the nail (or around the tip, it entirely depends upon where you want to position it).
You'll then see that you have a lot of the strip left. Just cut around the nail using some small scissors - be very careful with this as you don't want to damage the rest of the sticker strip as you'll need it for the rest of the nails. I used some nail scissors for this.
Apply a clear top coat to seal it all together and to prevent the sticker from peeling off. This will make the whole design last longer. Do the same to the rest of the nails
