Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara: REVIEW

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara* £11 (buy here or here)

I've had this little beauty for a while, but I've only recently started using it as I had a little clear out and realised I still had this to use!
The idea of a mascara thats designed for your bottom lashes, I think, is brilliant! My lashes are tiny, so using a standard mascara wand always results in smeared mascara under my eyes, tears, and blood shot eyes (Benefit they're Real! wand really hurts!).
I understand that Maybelline have a bottom lash mascara, but I don't think it's available in the UK yet.

Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara comes in a 2ml tube with a tiny wand, perfect for applying mascara to the bottom lashes. It doesn't add a great amount of curl, or length but it does turn your lashes super jet black making them stand out quite well.
It's not waterproof, but it does last all day, and doesn't flake or smudge. The wand is pointed, so it's easy to get into the very corners of your eye without too much trouble.
The bottle is small enough to be carried around in your handbag too, so it's really good for on the go. I'll be taking this with me when I go to Leeds Festival in August :)
The picture above is two coats of this mascara on the bottom lashes.

What do you think of this mascara? Is Bottom Lash Mascara just a gimmick or something worth investing in?

  4. I really want to try this but I'm scared it might be a bit too fiddly for me.
